At Sensalik, one of our core goals is to make a lasting, positive impact on the communities around us. Each quarter, we donate about 10% of our profits to charitable causes, primarily through trusted Canadian charitable organizations such as Islamic Relief and Human Appeal.

Jan - Dec 2025: Gaza and Sudan Relief Efforts

The humanitarian crises in Gaza and Sudan continue to create immense challenges for vulnerable communities. Sensalik has donated this year's proceeds to support relief efforts, provide essential supplies, and aid those affected by conflict and displacement. Through these donations, we aim to help bring hope, stability, and basic necessities to those who need it most.

Oct - Dec 2024: Gaza and Lebanon Relief Efforts

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Lebanon was devastating in 2024. Sensalik donated a portion of all proceeds to support relief efforts in these regions, providing food, medical aid, and shelter to those in need.

Jul 2024: Children's Hospital (LHSC)

Sensalik donated a portion of its profits in July to the Children's Hospital at the London Health Sciences Centre. The hospital provides specialized pediatric care for patients in London and across Southwestern Ontario.

Oct 2023 - Sept 2024: Gaza Humanitarian Relief

The conflict in Gaza created a humanitarian catastrophe for over 2 million people. Over 85% of the population was displaced, and 75% of homes were damaged or destroyed. Many lacked access to safe drinking water, food, electricity, and medicine. Sensalik donated over $10,000 over the past four quarters to support humanitarian relief initiatives.

Jul - Sep 2023: Morocco Earthquake Relief

On September 8, 2023, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck central Morocco, resulting in thousands of casualties and widespread destruction. Sensalik donated 50% of sales made between September 9–10, along with a portion of quarterly profits, to earthquake relief efforts.

Apr - Jun 2023: Relay for Life / Canadian Cancer Society

We participated in this year's Relay for Life campaign and contributed a portion of our proceeds for this quarter to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is a registered charity that supports Canadians with all cancers in communities across the country. They fund groundbreaking research, provide a support system for all those affected by cancer and shape healthy public policies to prevent cancer and support those living with the disease.

Jan - Mar 2023: Turkish Earthquake Relief

Following the devastating earthquakes in southern Turkey on February 6, 2023, Sensalik donated 100% of proceeds from Feb 7–11, totaling $1,860, along with a portion of quarterly profits to support earthquake relief and recovery efforts.

Oct - Dec 2022: Canadian Food Bank

The pandemic led to a significant increase in food bank usage, including a 33% rise in children relying on food support. Sensalik donated a portion of quarterly profits to the Canadian Food Bank to help fight food insecurity and support families in need.
